What we keep

• Account: your user name, email, password hash, the profile text you write, and when you signed in last.
• Forum and store: what you post, upload, buy and sell, with the time and your account.
• Licences: the name and email the licence was issued to, the order it came from, and (if you choose online activation later) a hash of each activated machine.
• Payments: handled by our payment provider; we receive the order id, the amount and your email, never your card number.
• Server logs: IP addresses and requested pages, kept for a few weeks for security.

What we do not do

No advertising networks, no tracking pixels, no selling of data. The one cookie is your session (and a "keep me signed in" cookie if you ask for it). The theme choice is stored in your own browser only.

The program

Carvio itself does not phone home. It works entirely offline; a licence is checked on your computer against a public key.

Your rights

Write to us through the contact page to see, correct or delete what we hold about you. Deleting an account removes the profile and anonymises its posts; licence records are kept as long as the licence can be used.
