Download Carvio 1.0.0
One file per platform, about the size of a few photos. The download is the free trial: it opens the example projects built into it and does everything in design mode (draw, model, make toolpaths, simulate) with no time limit. Saving, exporting and running the machine switch on when you add a licence, from inside Carvio.

- A graphics card or chip with OpenGL 3.3 (anything from the last ten years, Intel integrated included). The simulation runs on the GPU.
- For machine control: a Grbl 1.1 or grblHAL controller on a serial (USB) port.
- No internet connection is needed to design, simulate or cut.
First run
Windows may warn about an unsigned program the first time: choose "More info" and "Run anyway". On macOS, right-click the app and choose Open the first time. Then read Getting Started or press F1 inside Carvio.
Posts for your machine
Carvio ships with Grbl, grblHAL, OpenBuilds, laser and generic posts and reads standard .pp post processors, so the post you already use for your machine works as it is. Something missing? Ask in the Machines & controllers forum.
